Have you ever dreamed you could fly? Now is your chance to let your imagination run wild with Cirque Wings, an innovative theatrical production. Cirque Wings explores the history and passion to fly from ancient times to modern days. The incredible story of flight told through a stunning display of strong aerial circus acts, various styles of dance and acrobatics. An absolute must see performance. Exciting, beautiful and impossible, Cirque Wings is the jewel of performing arts. The New Cirque will present Cirque Wings at the Arlington Theater on September 24 at 4:00pm and 8:00pm. An all ages event not to be missed.
“From ancient times to modern days the passion to fly has followed us in our dreams for centuries,” explains Ivo Gueorguiev, director of The New Cirque. “Cirque Wings will take you on a magical journey of the history behind flight. I want to present a show to the community of Santa Barbara that tells an educational story that we can all relate to.”
Mr. Gueorguiev brings 40 years of experience to this wonderful masterpiece. A former Cirque du Soleil performer, he began his career before Cirque du Soleil with the legendary Ringling Brothers Circus. Many years following, he found himself starring in Cirque du Soleil’s Emmy nominated Bravo special Dralion setting a performance standard that has been impossible to duplicate. Cirque Wings is a masterpiece that will dazzle audiences of all ages through an amazing display of beauty and strength in flight.
