An unforgettable evening for the whole family!  Ten of Santa Barbara County's most outstanding young vocalists take the stage to compete for the Teen Star title in this thrilling event featuring celebrity judges and audience voting.  Teen Star is a non-profit group that supports our youth in performing arts in our local schools.  Come and be a part of the fastest growing singing competition in Santa Barbara County. What is Teen Star

Teen Star is a non-profit organization, supporting our youth in performing arts.  Teen Star provides education and showcases singing talent.

 

 
 

Discovering the Best Solo Singing Talent

The vision of Teen Star® is to provide a platform and venue where teens can flourish and showcase their talents in a healthy, supportive environment of family, friends, schools, and the community.

Contestants interview and audition before a panel of judges. Ten semi-finalists are chosen to compete in the Teen Star® Showcase before a live audience and celebrity judges from the music industry. Three finalists are determined by the judges and audience; the audience votes electronically to select the final winner.

Instilling Professionalism

Within the first year, we recognized the potential of Teen Star® for the community and saw the need to expand our program.  We have added seminars and workshops on auditioning, and instructive feedback for contestants, as well as mentoring sessions for our finalists.  Then we provide opportunities for the winners to be seen and heard at important civic events throughout the county.

Supporting Youth in the Arts

Teen Star® was established in 2010 to support performing arts programs in local schools. We give our youth an outlet to showcase their talents, providing lasting benefits for them and our entire community. Proceeds benefit youth in performing arts in Santa Barbara County
