UCSB Arts & Lectures’ talk by influential women’s rights activist Gloria Steinem on Thurs., Feb. 13 at 8 p.m. has been moved to the Arlington Theatre, 1317 State St., due to increasingly high demand. Steinem recently received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Admission will now be FREE for UCSB students with a current student ID.

The event, titled The Longest Revolution: An Evening with Gloria Steinem, was originally slated for UCSB Campbell Hall. The date and time will remain the same. The Arts & Lectures Ticket Office will be reseating patrons in equivalent seats at the Arlington Theatre and will reissue patrons’ tickets to the event by Jan. 15. Tickets to the Campbell Hall event will no longer be accepted for admission.

Tickets to Gloria Steinem’s talk are $30 to $40 for the general public and FREE for UCSB students with a current student ID. (An Arlington facility fee will be added to each ticket price.)
